chiizu's Megadrum build

Hi all, just thought I'd share some photos and notes about my experience building the 2.8 kit. For anyone wondering, this was my first serious DIY electronics project (though I do have an EE background).
First of all, thanks again to Synthex and dmitri for their stellar work that made all of this possible!

Notes:
I'm pleasantly suprised - everything went smoothly! The USB device was detected at first power up (Windows XP). The LCD module I have appears to be incompatible, but that's really the only hiccup (oh well, it was only $3 at the surplus store). The programmed ICs from Synthex are so worth the money. I was making happy fun drum noises within minutes of first boot.
That's all for now. Next items to tackle are putting the guts into a pretty box and building some nicer drum pads. Oh, and lots of tweaking.
