Why not using atmega324

This IC has native 20Mhz support. It has some things better than the atmega32 and it is cheaper (atmega32 costs 9€ in farnell, and atmega324 costs 5€ in farnell)
Why don't we start using it?

Don't know to be honest:) I thought Atmega324/644 were not as widely available as Atmega32. There is nothing preventing from using Atmega324/644 instead. In fact I tested it with Atmega644 ( and it worked fine at 24MHz) and I always compile firmwares for Atmega324/644 along with all others.

On uk.farnell Atmega324P is "Awaiting delivery"...
